Beginning November 21, the Georgia Tobacco Quitline will begin offering a four-week supply of free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRTs) to all adult Georgia tobacco users regardless of healthcare insurance status aged 18 and older while supplies last.

Free NRTs include a four-week supply of patches or gum per caller per year. These are offered in conjunction with tobacco cessation counseling services and are offered to any adult Georgian that uses any form of tobacco. Pregnant and postpartum women are strongly encouraged to consult with their healthcare provider before using any form of a nicotine replacement therapy.

Adult Georgians who use any form of tobacco and are ready to quit, can contact the Georgia Tobacco Quit Line at 1-877-270-STOP (7867) for the free NRTs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Quit Line provides free and confidential, professional tobacco cessation telephone and web-based counseling to all Georgia tobacco users ages 13 and older including pregnant and postpartum women.
